A Year at the Twin Drive-In Theater: January, 1975 (The Cincinnati Post, January 3 thru January 31, 1975)

The Twin Drive-In Theaters served the greater Cincinnati area from 1949 to 1978, when it was shut down and unceremoniously converted into a parking lot. But, holy hell, before it went, its two screens, the Norwood and the Reading, saw an amazing run of exploitation films in multiple genres. And to showcase it, we're gonna spend a year, month to month, and show you what was available to see and what going to the movies used to be like. The year we chose was 1975. Most ads were repeaters, so we'll just be showing one from each week unless their was a variation, which will also be posted. For the winter months of January and February, it shuttered one screen. And some weeks, there was only one ad that referred to the Drive-In Theater directory, which listed all the area Drive-In choices. In those cases, I will include the directory listings to see what we missed. Beyond that: Look, boggle, and enjoy!
